Are all ginger extracts equally good?
There are many ways to extract the active principles. The composition and toxicity of the extract may vary according to the particular extraction method. Regarding concentration, tests have shown that for optimum it is recommended to take the equivalent of 1 000 mg of ginger powder. In chemist’s shops you will find products with a basis of ginger extracts that are more and more concentrated. However, it has been shown that exceeding the recommended dose of 1 000 mg of ginger powder each time does not increase its effectiveness.
